I'm studying travel industri at one of university. In this trip, i've to explore some city about travel, culinary, tourism attraction, hotel accomodation, all about their traditional things.
Welcome to Jogja |
I'd stayed at POP! Hotel Jogja (near tugu statue). Pop is a eco-friendly hotel. more info you can visit http://pophotels.com

This is a map of Jogja that i've capture from Dispar Jogja
I've dinner at Gudeg Bu tjitro in front of Jogja Expo Center. Gudeg are cooked chicken into the soup with a combination of herbs ginseng, dried dates, ginger, cinnamon, and secret spices. Savory broth mixed perfectly with the taste of ginseng. Besides delicious, this food also has many health benefits including eliminating fatigue and increase stamina.
Gudeg is traditional food from jogjakarta.
Taste delicious!! |
Puspas UGM |
Then i also visited Ratu Boko Palace. Ratu Boko Palace is a magnificent building which was built during the reign of Rakai Panangkaran, a descendant of Sailendra dynasty. The palace was originally named Abhayagiri Vihara (meaning monastery on a peaceful hill) was built for seclusion and to focus on the spiritual life. Being in this palace, you can feel the peace as well as see the sights of the city of Yogyakarta and Prambanan temple with the background of Mount Merapi.
